WHY WE LIKE THIS HOTEL

The height of comfort and style in the Brazilian rainforest, Anavilhanas Jungle Lodge merges traditional Amazonian design with modern comfort and style and blends beautifully with the surrounding environment. The rooms are made up of 16 thatched wooden bungalows which rest on stilts above the forest floor. Inside polished, wooden panels merge with soft linen and open onto private verandahs where you can sink into your own hammock. All the rooms are equipped with air-con, minibars and modern bathrooms with hot running waters. All activities are included and range from jungle walks and canoe trips to piranha fishing and visits to the community of Novo Airão, famous for the their pink river dolphins. The darker waters of the Negro River are noticeably free of biting insects and provide the perfect conditions for watching the sun set over the distant islands, cocktail in hand. The lodge’s elegant pool is ideal for cooling off between adventures while other facilities include a bar lounge with a pool table and small reference library. The Anavilhanas Lodge is an excellent option and ideal for couples and nature enthusiasts alike.
