Bwabwata is situated on an old dune system, that runs northwest-south-east across the whole length of the park.

Discover buffalo, hordes of elephants, lions and leopards, African wild dogs, sable, roan, giraffe, and the usual impala, kudu, and zebra. Large concentrations of elephants and Buffalo roam freely in the park. Bwabwata is one of the last refuges of the renowned wild dogs of Namibia.
