The World Heritage-listed Chitwan National Park is located in southern Nepal and easily reached from Kathmandu and Pokhara.

The park is renowned for being home to the rare Bengal tiger and one horned rhino as well as wild elephant, leopard, crocodiles and prolific birdlife. Safariā€™s through Chitwan National Park generally take place on elephant back which enhances the experience, jungle walks and boat trips are also available.
