Annaba situated near Wadi Seybouse River, is 100 kilometres from the Tunisian border and 150 kilometres southwest of Constantine, surrounded by areas of agriculture. For this reason, it became prevalent among the French colonialists, hence the city reflects a strong French heritage.

If you turn to face the horizon to the south, youā€™ll see it is strongly dominated by the breathtaking Basilica of St. Augustine, which will remind you of the contemporary Sacre Coeur in Paris.

Stroll around this seaside town at your leisure and admire the colonial architecture from the Cours de la RĆ©volution to the lively casbah and quiet, meditative mosques. A little further on lies, the dramatic headland known as the Cap de Garde and the extensive ruins of St Augustine.
