WHY WE LIKE THIS HOTEL

The Manantial del Silencio is a splendid, mock colonial estancia with captivating views towards the “rock of seven colours” at the foot of the surrounding red-rock mountains. An oasis of peace and tranquillity, the Manantial models the monastic architecture of colonial times. Thick, white-washed adobe walls and terracotta tiles offer cool respite from the sun while the hotel exudes historical charm throughout with antique wooden furniture and oil paintings complementing regional textiles and home comforts. The guestrooms overlook either the gardens or town and retain the colonial character of the property with wrought iron bedframes or carved wooden head boards amidst charming period fittings. The formal dining room specialises in gourmet, regional cuisine though for variety, the village offers a number of simple restaurants a short walk away. There is a circular spa overlooking the handsome pool which offers a range of massages and treatments.
The Hotel Manantial del Silencio boasts the ideal location from which to explore the village and surrounding canyons. The gardens are pretty, the views better still and this is an excellent mid-range option.
