The height of sophisticated elegance within southern Patagonia, the MV Stella Australis is a stunning expedition ship constructed in 2010 which offers magnificent cruises through the spectacular glacier-topped Patagonian fjords at the tip of the continent.
Modern and comfortable in design with oversized picture windows throughout to accentuate the breathtaking views, the Stella Australis delivers first class service amidst the formal elegance of the spacious communal areas.
There are 100 en-suite cabins spanning 3 decks to cater to a maximum of 210 guests. The cabins are contemporary in style, furnished with warm, neutral colours and spread across 6 categories. Four of the categories, from cabins B to AAA are identical in size while superior cabins AA and AAA are more generous, 20.5m² with floor to ceiling windows.
The Stella Australis offers 4 night, fully-comprehensive cruises departing from Punta Arenas, Chile, and Ushuaia in southern Argentina to take in the breathtaking scenery of the southern fjords and Cape Horn National Park (weather permitting). Guests head out each day on zodiac boat trips accompanied by expert local guides to visit spectacular icebergs, glaciers and wildlife colonies. Each evening lectures are given on the area’s history, flora and fauna.
