Los Cerros is an excellent hotel in the centre of the village and ideally equipped for walkers looking for a comfortable end to a day’s hike. The restaurant comes well recommended and offers wonderful views looking down the valley.

The Hosteria el Puma retains the simple, frontier feel of El Chalten and offers no great luxury. However, the lodge is homely and prides itself on its service and friendly atmosphere, an excellent base for exploring the breathtaking trails of Mount Fitzroy.
