WHY WE LIKE THIS HOTEL
Casa de Eugenia is a vivid splash of blue in San Martin de los Andes, a charming family-run guesthouse and a former national parks administration office built in 1927, now recognised as a national heritage building. The B&B is surrounded by pretty gardens including a handsome heated pool while inside, you can relax in the sitting room or even the library, sinking into an armchair with a book in front of a crackling fireplace. There are no shortage of restaurants in San Martin but during high season, Casa de Eugenia do offer a lunch and dinner service as well as a traditional Tearoom in a lovely conservatory open to the public where you can enjoy homemade breads, pastries and freshly squeezed fruit juices. True, facilities are lacking and rooms are on the cosy side but for a warm welcome and traditional hospitality, there is no better option!
