WHY WE LIKE THIS HOTEL

Small and intimate, La Escondida exudes rustic elegance throughout with exposed stone cladding and wooden beams reflecting the traditional “alpine” architecture favoured throughout the Lake District. Guests are treated to delicious home-made breads, cakes and regional marmalades in the hotel’s El Bistro breakfast bar while La Delfina restaurant delivers regional favourites such as salmon and trout and focuses on fresh, home-grown products. La Escondida lives up to its namesake “the hidden one”, and is a delightful, mid-range lodge ideal for those looking for peace and tranquillity amidst spectacular scenery.
