BELIZE CITY

Take a stroll around town, with its colonial architecture and the cultural and historical centres. There’s also eclectic shopping and dining. As a busy port city, Belize City is the commercial centre of the country with the only cruise passenger terminal, the Museum of Belize, and numerous historical sites. You will find quick connection, either by a short flight or water taxi, to offshore islands making for great day trips for snorkelling, diving and relaxing.

CARACOL

Caracol is deep in the heart of the Cayo District’s Chiquibul Forest Reserve of the Maya Mountains. Covering an area of nearly 25,000 acres, this site is impressive for its extensive agricultural field system and elaborate city planning. Caracol is one of the most pristine and well-kept Maya sites in Belize. If you want to see a fantastic piece of our history, head to Caracol.

AGUA CALIENTE WILDLIFE SANCTUARY

Take a dip in the hot springs of Agua Caliente Wildlife Sanctuary. Within the 5,468 acres of the basin, wetlands are a very dependent community of both endangered wildlife and vulnerable vegetation. Ranked as one of the top priority zones by the National Protected Area Policy, you will discover the Yucatan Black Howler monkey, Baird’s Tapir and Swietenia Macrophylla Mahogany.
