WHY WE LIKE THIS HOTEL

The Italian-inspired Vila D’Este offers the height of taste from the beautiful landscaped garden to the stylish communal areas which lead through to the handsome pool and ocean-facing terrace. The rooms are modern comfortable and we recommend upgrading to the Superior categories for sea-views or, better still, the suite (pictured) for sweeping vistas and a jacuzzi, the ideal spot from which to enjoy sunset. For restaurants and bars, Buzios is spoilt for choice and the Vila d’Este’s Bistro Vila offers another excellent option specialising in innovative Mediterranean cuisine. From the pousada, Buzios’ highlights are all within easy reach. In town you can browse the upmarket galleries and shops or to escape it all, you can hire a beach buggy and explore the peninsula’s secluded beaches and coves. In addition, there is good snorkelling and sailing and you can even try your hand at surfing the local break. The Pousada Vila d’Este may lack the facilities of larger hotels, yet is beautifully done and is ideal for winding down at the end of a busy trip.
