This vast park named after two dormant volcanoes located within its limits, Mount Kahuzi and Mount Biega, both mountainous and lowland terrain are situated within the park boundaries. Covered with a tropical forest protecting a wide range of flora and fauna, including species of mammals, birds, and more than 1,170 plant species.
