Lola Ya Bonobo Sanctuary provides a home for orphaned bonobos. Long thought to be chimpanzees, bonobos are a separate species known for being more peaceful than their cousins.
Endangered, with around 50,000 surviving in the wild, trails lead around large, forested enclosures, but the delightful bonobos are often seen hanging out at the front, especially in the morning.
