The Casa Deco is a welcome addition to Bogota’s historic old town, an attractive boutique hotel that carefully maintains the style and character of the original art-deco architecture. Inside, modern art adorns the walls while the simple, terracotta floors and clean spaces are offset by glass-tiled mosaics, warm contemporary furniture and leafy pot plants. Above the hotel, a spacious terrace stretches out across the roof and affords sweeping panoramic views of the city and Monserrate Hill. The Casa Deco provides a nice contrast to the colonial feel of La Candelaria and is an attractive mid-range option in Bogota.
