WHY WE LIKE THIS HOTEL

Tucked into the lush hillside above Chinchina amidst rolling coffee plantations, Hacienda Venezia is a traditional, two-storey farmhouse and wonderful spot to experience the valleys. A magnificent red balcony runs the length of the finca, awash with tropical flowers while inside Venezia is bright and airy, elegantly furnished with colonial furniture and family heirlooms. The Hacienda Venezia offers guests a unique insight into Colombia’s coffee making process and specialises in the higher grade Arabica bean. You can tour the plantations by foot, horse-back and Willy jeep or relax around the sparkling pool enjoying the views. Hacienda Venezia is wonderful, the gardens full of flowers and butterflies and the house a traditional gem. Rooms, however, are very simple, not all even have a window or a private bathroom, yet the privileged setting and warm, family feel make this a very special spot.
