WHY WE LIKE THIS HOTEL
The Tayrona Ecohabs are simply, idyllic and surprisingly comfortable – perfect for relaxing at the end (or start) of a busy trip. The beaches are picturesque yet the strong currents only allow swimming and snorkelling from certain protected bays. Further afield, there is good walking to the small but interesting pre-Incan site of Pueblito. Travel in May and you coincide with the arrival of the sea turtles, a wonderful experience for the guests who can experience the hotel’s release program. The food can be fairly repetitive and the huts rustic yet the pristine beauty and tranquility of the area make this a stand out destination in Colombia.
