Brijuni is a collection of islands located along the southwestern coast of Istria, near Pula. The group consists of two larger and twelve smaller islands, with a total surface area of only 7 km2.
However, when combined with the surrounding sea, the park’s total area is 34 km2. Brijuni is known for its stunning Mediterranean vegetation and rocky terrain. Additionally, the islands have a rich cultural heritage dating back to Roman and Byzantine times, which, coupled with their natural beauty, has made them a popular vacation spot for world leaders and the elite.
