A once crumbling complex, La Selva enjoyed a dramatic facelift in 2012 and now offers the most stylish base from which to explore the picturesque surrounding jungle. From the outside, wooden beams and native bamboo topped with striking Amazonian thatch honour traditional design while inside, modern furniture blends with soft linen and vibrant contemporary colours. La Selva offers a remote and pristine rainforest experience to suit both couples and families alike. It is one of the more expensive lodges along the river, yet the heady combination of traditional design, contemporary fittings and beautiful location is worth every cent.
