Situated on the island of Suðuroy, between the villages of Lopra and Sumba, is a remarkable 470m sea cliff known as Beinisvørð.
This cliff is the tallest on the southernmost island and attracts many tourists. Additionally, Beinisvørð is a frequently mentioned subject in Faroese literature, with two of the most distinguished Faroese poets referencing the sea cliff in their works.
