Kalsoy

Faroe Islands - Classic Faroe Islands

The island of Kalsoy, known as “the flute” due to its narrow shape and numerous road tunnels, boasts breathtaking views.

With 13 peaks, 11 valleys, and four small villages with a total population of fewer than 150, this destination is ideal for adventurers. A hike to the Kallur lighthouse at Kalsoyā€™s northernmost point is an especially remarkable experience. Kalsoy is also home to a diverse bird population, including puffins, storm petrels, and black guillemots.
