Helsinki

Helsinki has a reputation for being one of Europeā€™s most progressive and modern cities, with a fascinating history going back over 450 years. Its combination of bustling, busy market places, of seaside parks, bars, cafĆ©s, and restaurants, its variety of museums and galleries, outdoor music festivals and concerts, all combine to make this a perfect city for visitors.

 

KittilƤ ā€“ Levi

KittilƤ is a municipality and village in the province of Lapland, some 200km north of the Arctic Circle. The region has become a very popular holiday destination, especially in winter. Most visitors arriving in KittilƤ are on their way to Levi, one of Finlandā€™s largest ski resorts, and two of only three in the country with a gondola lift. There are 44 slopes here, 15 of which are floodlit, most are suitable for beginners and intermediates but there are 4 black slopes for experts.

 

Rovaniemi

Situated at the junction of the majestic rivers of Kemijoki and Ounasjoki on the Arctic Circle, in the midst of a captivating and rugged wilderness, Rovaniemi is Laplandā€™s capital city, an energetic jewel of the North which lays claim to being the home of Father Christmas. Indeed, visitors from all over the world travel here to meet him, at the famous Santa Claus Village or at Santa Park, located in a deep underground cavern, while many other winter tourists arrive to holiday at the Ounasvaara Ski Centre & Resort.

 

Lahti

Idyllically situated around a bay on Lake VesijƤrvi, Lahti is a vibrant town 100km north of Helsinki. Lahti is a popular travel destination with excellent skiing facilities at MessilƤ Ski Resort and the famous ski jumps by the SalpausselkƤ Ridges. It is also home to the Lahti Museum of Visual Arts Malva, Lahti Symphony Orchestra, and hosts the Lahti Sibelius Festival.
