Bourges

Bourges, a “City of Art and History”, is a beautiful medieval town. In its centre stands the Saint Etienne Cathedral, a World Heritage Monument chosen by UNESCO for its unique architecture.

Capital of France during the time of Charles VII, Bourges became a busy commercial centre in the 15th century.
