Spacious and comfortable with fresh communal areas spread across the ship’s two bows, yet the Ocean Spray retains the intimate, cosy feel of a small motor cruiser.
There are 8 air-conditioned, stateroom cabins to cater to a maximum of 16 passengers plus a smaller single on the upper deck. All are generous, with bright and breezy contemporary décor and large picture windows. Best of all, each cabin opens onto a private balcony, a rarity in the Galapagos and the perfect spot for enjoying sunset.
Cuisine is an integral part of the cruise and passengers can expect delicious international and Ecuadorian dishes either served in the dining room/lounge or al fresco if the weather allows.
The Ocean Spray runs 14 night itineraries which are sub-divided into a combination of 4, 5, 6 and 8 day cruises. Each day, passengers head out on excursions – nature walks, boat trips, wildlife observation – accompanied by the resident naturalist guides. For active travellers, there is every opportunity to swim, snorkel or take advantage of the on-board kayaks (wetsuit and snorkelling equipment included). Back on board, you can retire to the sun-deck, sink into the jacuzzi and enjoy the islands as they drift by.
