The MV Evolution recreates the classic look and feel of the 1920’s and is a 210ft motor-sailor that combines the traditional elegance of a bygone era with 21st-centuary level of comfort and safety.
The ship exudes space and warmth throughout with classic period décor and abundance of wood from the teak panelled saloon and dining area to the open decks. There are 16 spacious Staterooms and Suites spread across 3 decks which cater to a maximum of 32 guests. All are traditionally furnished with a hint of contemporary colour and which overlook the islands through either portholes or large picture windows. The Evolution prides itself on its cuisine and offers a mix of Ecuadorian and international flavours served buffet style either in the inside dining room or al fresco if the weather allows. Additional facilities include a library/lecture room, an infirmary, a canopied Sky Deck lounge and bar and a sun deck with a small jacuzzi – the ideal spot for watching the islands drift past.
The MV Evolution offers two 7 night cruises, a northern and southern circuit through the breathtaking archipelago. Each day guests head out on morning and afternoon excursions led by dedicated naturalist guides. There are regular opportunities to swim and snorkel and even take advantage of the on-board kayaks.
