Skopelos is a mesmerising destination with breathtaking landscapes, shimmering waters, and traditional Pelion architecture.
The island is mainly covered in a lush pine forest, which gives it a captivating green hue. It belongs to the Sporades Islands group and is home to three ports: Skopelos, Agnontas, and Glossa. According to ancient Greek mythology, the island’s first inhabitant was Peparithos, the son of Dionysus and Ariadne. The island was later named Skopelos in Ptolemaios texts during the 2nd century AD.
