Ittoqqortoormiit

Located in Greenland, Ittoqqortoormiit is considered the most isolated town in the area.

To the north lies the world’s largest national park, while the world’s most extensive fjord system can be found to the south. The town is surrounded by a breathtakingly pristine wilderness where wildlife flourishes, millions of seabirds nest, and enormous icebergs create an ever-changing sculpture gallery. It is also where local hunters follow ancient traditions, making it the ideal location to experience the traditional Inuit way of life. However, visitors should know that encountering a polar bear is possible.
