Delhi – Luxury Collection

The Oberoi$$$$

The new (2022) refurbishment has added to the hotel’s already luxurious feel (but not at all displayed in the rather drab 1960s style concrete exterior). The new look is said to be influenced by Sir Edwin Lutyens’ designs for New Delhi – which might have raised a quizzical Lutyens eyebrow. Silky glitz and glamour is the key focus, with a huge marble lobby softened by Indian antiques and modern artwork.

The Claridges$$$

In our opinion one of the best located and best value high-end hotels in the city. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the service and food all of a very high quality.
