The Oberoi is set in over five acres of land, with beautiful gardens, in one of Delhi's most fashionable areas. Many rooms overlook the tightly wooded greens of Delhi Golf Course; others have superb views of Humayun's Tomb, one of the city's prime attractions. Connaught Place, the city's beating heart is, traffic dependent as always in Delhi, 10 minutes' drive away, and the wonderful Lodhi Gardens are just down the road.

WHY WE LIKE THIS HOTEL
The new (2022) refurbishment has added to the hotel’s already luxurious feel (but not at all displayed in the rather drab 1960s style concrete exterior). The new look is said to be influenced by Sir Edwin Lutyens’ designs for New Delhi – which might have raised a quizzical Lutyens eyebrow. Silky glitz and glamour is the key focus, with a huge marble lobby softened by Indian antiques and modern artwork.
