Built over 150 years ago by Rawal Sheo Singhji, a Minister in the Jaipur court, Samode Haveli is a stunning heritage property located in the heart of the walled city. Originally constructed as the Samode Royal family’s suburban manor house it was converted into a heritage hotel in 1988.The leafy garden setting is a delight and makes it hard to believe that you are just a stones throw from the bustling city streets of Jaipur!

WHY WE LIKE THIS HOTEL

All rooms feature a courtyard or balcony looking out to the swimming pool, fountain courts and lush gardens of the Haveli. The deluxe suites are significantly larger than the deluxe rooms and feature superior furnishings – in our opinion highly worth the small upgrade cost.

The spectacular hand painted (from floor to ceiling) dining hall provides an exceptional setting for dinner. For those that like to eat Al Fresco tables are also set up for lunch and dinner in the central courtyard, lit by candles at night to create a stunning yet peaceful setting – highly recommended! There is also a beautiful airy verandah where guests can enjoy a delicious afternoon tea – a real treat with delicate teas and mouthwatering sweet treats!

Staff at the Samode Haveli are a real credit to the property, providing first class personalised service catering to your every whim. A bonus is that the property does not accept large groups, creating a relaxed peaceful atmosphere amongst the grounds. The property also offers guests complimentary wifi access from the lobby.
