Located just 1km from the heart of Jodhpur, the Ajit Bhawan was one of India’s first heritage properties. The original palace was built in 1927 for the Maharaja of Jodhpur's younger brother and later converted by his son into a hotel. To this day the hotel is managed by descendents of the royal family.

WHY WE LIKE THIS HOTEL

The property is home to 70 rooms which are set amongst pristine gardens around the main building. All rooms have been tastefully decorated with colourful Rajput fabrics and traditional furnishings.

The hotel offers a wide range of recreational facilities including: sauna, spa, Jacuzzi, fitness center and an inviting swimming pool.

Dining at The Ajit Bhawan is a delightful experience with a good range of both Indian and International dishes on offer. Weather permitting, meals are generally served in the beautiful garden area, however there is also an indoor restaurant.

The Ajit Bhawan is a charming property that represents good value for money and is the ideal base from which to explore the city of Jodhpur.
