At 2100 feet above sea level, Deogarh experiences cooler temperatures than much of Rajasthan which is a welcome relief from the hot smoggy cities. There is plenty to see and do around Deogarh, the town itself is home to a 200 year-old fort and beautiful lake, which features an island filled with ancient tombs and a ruined temple – perfect for a day’s exploration by foot or by bike.
