Kaziranga National Park

India - Wildlife in India

Situated on the banks of the mighty Brahmaputra River in the state of Assam, Kaziranga is most well known for being home to the Indian one-horned rhino, representing more than two thirds of the worldā€™s total.

Safariā€™s are generally conducted by elephant which adds to the adventure as you roam around the parks expansive grasslands. Oasis generally prefer vehicle options, which are becoming more wildly available, as parks move away from elephant back tourism.
