Pench Tiger Reserve

India - Wildlife in India

Located in the central state of Madhya Pradesh, just two hours drive from Nagpur airport, Pench Tiger Reserve is less well known than the stateā€™s other two national parks ā€“ Kanha and Bandhavgarh which in our opinion enhances the appeal as there are less visitors which makes for a more personalised visit.

The park is thought to be the destination from which Rudyard Kipling found his inspiration to write the Jungle book and it is easy to understand why with acres of pristine teak forest and with regular sightings of tiger, langur, spotted deer and jungle cat.
