Considering Iran is home to the hottest places on earth in its deserts, has almost a dozen fantastic ski resorts.
At an altitude of 3,800 meters above sea level heading out of Tehran from the northeast of the city, it’ll be a 70 km mountainous ride and take you around an hour and a half to get there.
Because of this high altitude, seasonal dates run from late November and can go all the way through to May. The snow is retained exceptionally well at Dizin, and you will usually find most lifts running.
In summer, Dizin offers coaching facilities as well as tennis courtyards, volleyball grounds, a park for children, a slope for skiing on turf, mountain climbing and walking, as well as riding and cycling routes.
