Fly to Norway

Discover Oslo
Upon your arrival, pick up your rental car and drive to Oslo, the capital of Norway. Forests and the magnificent Oslofjord surround this lively city. Take a leisurely stroll along the streets and explore the city home to the royal family. You can also visit the main street, Karl Johan, lined with numerous shops, bars, and cafes, and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere.
Day 2
Crossing Hardangervidda
Take the road along Tyrifjorden and cross it to reach Begnadalen on your way to Fagernes. In Fagernes, visit the Valdresmusea, an open-air folk museum established in 1901. It boasts an impressive collection of over 70 houses depicting Norway’s history from the past to the present. Later in the day, drive through the small village of Gol to reach Geilo on the desert plateau of Hardangervidda.
Day 3
Explore Bergen on foot
Begin your day by hitting the road towards Bergen. Don’t forget to stop at the magnificent Vøringfoss waterfall, which stands tall at 163 metres! After that, cross the Hardangerfjord by taking the bridge from Brimnes to Bruravik towards the west. Once you reach Bergen, take in the ambience of the old port, Bryggen, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. For a breathtaking view of the city of seven mountains, take the funicular to the top of Mount Fløien. Additionally, we recommend visiting the house of the renowned composer Edvard Grieg or the Fantoft Stave Church.

The Majestic Sognefjord
Begin your day by taking a road trip to Gudvangen via Voss and seeing the Tvindefoss waterfall. Gudvangen is a small village located in the heart of the fjords, where you can enjoy a 2-hour and 45-minute cruise on the Sognefjord and its narrowest branch, the Nærøyfjord. Take in the breathtaking landscapes and marvel at the beauty of the fjords before arriving in Kaupanger. Alternatively, you can explore the village of Flåm along the way and discover another splendid route to Fodnes. From there, you can take a small ferry to Mannheller. Don’t miss visiting the Kaupanger Stave Church before heading north. You can also stop by the Norwegian Glacier Museum in Fjærland.
Day 5
Briksdal Glacier
As you proceed with your journey to the north, stop and visit Briksdal Glacier. Once you reach Olden, a short hike of 1 hour and 30 minutes round trip will take you to the glacier, where you can witness the beauty of this natural wonder. After that, you can continue your journey and head towards Geiranger, where you can spend a leisurely day by the fjord.
Day 6
Cruise on the Geirangerfjord
This morning, you will have the opportunity to embark on a breathtaking one-hour cruise on the Geirangerfjord, one of Norway’s most magnificent natural wonders. As you sail through the pristine waters, you will be surrounded by towering cliffs, cascading waterfalls, and lush greenery. The fjord’s narrowness adds to the spectacular scenery, making it an unforgettable experience. Get ready to immerse yourself in the captivating beauty of Norway’s Geirangerfjord.
Day 7
The Atlantic Ocean Road
Here you are again on the road between land and sea, and you will take another ferry to reach Kristiansund. Today, you will drive on the famous Atlantic Road, which will take you from island to island and have the opportunity to enjoy unique landscapes.
Day 8
Kristiansund – Trondheim
Before continuing your journey, take some time to relax in the charming town of Kristiansund and enjoy the beautiful walks offered by the surrounding archipelago. Once you arrive in Trondheim, return your rental car.
Day 9
Visit Trondheim and the Night Train
Trondheim is a city in Norway with a lot to offer visitors. One of the main attractions is Nidaros Cathedral, which is built on the burial place of Saint Olav and is considered the national sanctuary of Norway. If you are interested in history and architecture, check out the Archbishop’s Palace. It is one of the best-preserved buildings of its kind in Europe and is the oldest secular building in Scandinavia. Another place worth visiting is Stiftegården, the royal residence. Additionally, the charming district of Bakklandet, with its wooden houses, is a must-see. This evening, you’ll board the night train and continue your journey.

Cruise to the Lofoten Islands
You will arrive in Bodø in the morning. Transfer to the port. Then take the express boat to Svolvær, which will take you there in 3 hours and 30 minutes. Transfer to your hotel.

Explore Svolvaer
Explore the charming town of Svolvaer on a guided tour and discover the Lofoten Islands’ rich cultural heritage and stunning natural beauty. Visit the Lofoten War Museum to learn about the region’s history during World War II, stroll around the picturesque harbour, and enjoy a fishing excursion to catch your own fresh fish.
