Train to Amsterdam
Welcome to Amsterdam
Meet your driver today, and they will escort you to your hotel for the next few nights. Once settled, explore this fantastic city with your private guide. Journey the city’s waterways on your private canal boat tour and visit 17th-century architecture and explore the historical significance of the canals recognised by UNESCO.
Art and Culture in Museum Square
After breakfast, meet your guide for a day dedicated to Museum Square, starting at the Van Gogh Museum, and immerse yourself in the life and works of one of the greatest artists. Next, visit the Rijksmuseum, home to Dutch Golden Age masterpieces, including works by Rembrandt and Vermeer. In the afternoon, enjoy some time at Vondelpark, a lush oasis in the heart of the city. Historic Amsterdam and Local Markets

Day Trip to Zaanse Schans and Volendam
Your driver will meet you this morning for your tour to Zaanse Schans, a living museum that showcases traditional Dutch windmills, crafts, and historical buildings. Here, you can also try your hand at cheese-making and see how Clogs are made.
A little later, head to Volendam, a charming village just outside of Amsterdam, is the perfect opportunity to learn about seafood and the herring industry.
Modern Amsterdam and Departure
This morning, explore modern Amsterdam, visiting the neighbourhoods of De Pijp and the NDSM Wharf. Take a bike ride along the scenic city routes, experiencing Amsterdam like a true local.

The weather in the Netherlands can be quite unpredictable, with mild temperatures and frequent rain throughout the year. The best time to visit would be during the summer months of June to August, when the weather is generally warm and sunny with temperatures ranging from 20-25°C. However, if you prefer cooler weather, then spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) can also be good times to visit, with temperatures ranging from 10-15°C. Winter (December to February) can be quite cold, with temperatures ranging from 0-5°C, so it’s best to pack warm clothing if you plan to visit during this time.
