Copenhagen – Getting Aclimatised
Upon arrival, private transfer to a hotel in the city centre. Rest of the day at leisure – walk along the streets and explore the city of the royal family, and the main street Strøget, with many shops, bars and cafes.
Day 3-4
Discover Copenhagen
Enjoy the famed charms from the past and present, including the infamous Little Mermaid and the rococo Royal Palace Amalienborg. Walk around Nyhavn, originally a busy commercial port, but nowadays a popular tourist place. Don’t forget to mention the house Nr. 20, home to the famous writer H.C. Andersen. Especially during summer, Nyhavn is the perfect place to end a long day. If time allows you, you should try to bike around the city as a real Copenhagener. Copenhagen is world famous for its biking culture, which is as old as the bicycle. Copenhageners have used bicycles to transport themselves to work since the 1880s.
Day 5
Odense
This morning, transfer westbound towards Fyn, another Danish Island on which the city of Odense stands. Once you arrive, your guide will take you around the city. You are in a historical city where the writer H.C. Andersen was born and lived. Don’t miss the museum retracing his life work or visiting his childhood home in a cute city neighbourhood.

Aarhus
Transfer to Aarhus: In the late morning, you arrive in Aarhus, the second biggest city in Denmark. This dynamic and young town is perfect for a short stay and discovery.
You can explore its art museum, ARoS, with spectacular architecture and many modern art pieces. Walk through the city centre, where you will stumble upon a wide range of hip boutiques, cafés, antique stores, and art galleries. Don’t forget to visit the cathedral, the longest and tallest of its kind in the country.
Spend some time in Den Gamle By – a national open-air museum of urban history and culture, a reconstitution of olden days, giving an insight into everyday Danish life in the past centuries.

Copenhagen by Boat
You have the morning to complete your visits to Aarhus. In the afternoon, transfer to the ferry terminal, where you will sail from Aarhus back to Sjælland Island for over an hour. Enjoy the trip as the boat crosses the sea to reach the other side. You will then disembark in Odden, where you will be transferred back to Copenhagen. Upon arrival in Copenhagen, spend this last day completing your discovery of Denmark. You could indulge in a fun evening in Tivoli Garden or walk around the city centre’s small cobbled streets with a visit to the Round Tower. This attraction offers fantastic views over this one-of-a-kind Scandinavian capital.
