When to travel

jan feb mar apr may jun jul aug sep oct nov dec

The winter months are a delightful time to visit Oman, when the air is clear, the nights are cool, and the daytime temperatures rarely rise above 30Ā°C. There is some rain, but any showers are short and sharp. Visitors are guaranteed warm and dry weather in the autumn and spring months, with temperature averaging in the mid-thirties. The summer months are best avoided, when heat soars to 54Ā°C and the humidity is stifling.

Add onā€™s

This Oman itinerary has many add-on holiday options; for example, you could head to the magnificent beach and mountains of Khasab in Musandam, just a few hour’s drive from Dubai. Or spend a few days relaxing in the sun at a resort in Salalah.

Oman is also easily accessed by the main flight hubs of Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Doha, making city stopovers easy to arrange.
