Brazil
Day 1
Porto Jofre – Jaguar Central
Fly to Cuiabá airport and transfer to Porto Jofre. The journey begins with a 111 km drive to the historic gold mining town of Poconé and from there, a further 147 km section along the unpaved Transpantaneira Park Road which gives you your first taste of the spectacular landscapes and wildlife of the Pantanal. On arrival in Porto Jofre, you board the vessel for the start of your six day unforgettable journey.
Day 2
the Meeting of the Waters
After breakfast, you enjoy your the first river safari to explore the Meeting of the Waters State Park region, famously known as “jaguar land”. Here, you find the highest concentration of jaguar in all South America. Enjoy lunch back on board taking in the stunning landscapes before you head back out on another river safari, culminating in a breathtaking sunset view. After this memorable outing, savour dinner on the boat before settling in for the night reflecting on the day’s adventures in this remarkable setting. The excursions around the Meeting of the Waters State Park—covering the Cuiabá, Piquiri, and Three Brothers rivers, along with their tributaries—will occur during daylight hours, providing the perfect opportunity to navigate the waterways in search of captivating wildlife. There will be opportunities to encounter giant and neotropical otters, capybaras, caimans, a diverse array of birds, and the elusive jaguar, making for an unforgettable adventure in this biodiverse region.
Day 3
Pantanal National park
An early breakfast before you head out for another exciting river safari in the Meeting of the Waters State Park region, scouring the river-banks for jaguar and other remarkable wildlife which include over 650 species of birds. During lunch on the Akaia, the vessel coninues its journey downstream along the Cuiabá River toward the Amolar mountain range. In the mid-afternoon, embark on a thrilling river safari to explore the picturesque Negrinho River, another natural haven where there is every chance of spotting herons, Egrets, Ibises and Spoonbills. After dinner, head out on board to marvel at the star-scape as the vessel continues its journey west towards the Bolivian border.
Day 4
Serra do Amolar
After breakfast, enjoy a change of perspective as you disembark the Akaia at the Acurizal Reserve and enjoy a short nature walk in search of the endemic Titi Monkey and other flora and fauna. After the walk, return to the boat for lunch and in the mid-afternoon, you embark on a river safari near the headquarters of Pantanal National Park, where it is possible to observe the region’s rich biodiversity. After an exciting day, return to the vessel after sunset for dinner as your voyage crosses into the Paraguay River and traces the Bolivian border south.
Day 5
Paraguai Mirim
Start the day with breakfast and set off for a thrilling river safari in the Amolar area, rich with wildlife amidst stunning scenery. Return to the vessel for lunch and some well-deserved rest while navigating the Paraguay River downstream. In the mid-afternoon, your last river safari awaits with the opportunity to swim or snorkel in the crystal-clear waters of the Paraguai Mirim. After sunset, return to the boat for a delicious dinner and enjoy final overnight while navigating towards the distant lights of Corumbá.

Day 6
Disembarktion at Corumba
After an early breakfast, guests will disembark at Corumbá and enjoy a brief immersion into the town’s history, including a visit to the Museu do Homem Pantaneiro Museum. From here, you are driven to Campo Grande airport for onward connections.
