This area, nestled in the far northeast of Malaysia, is home to beaches, exotic islands, lush virgin tropical jungle, old-fashioned fishing villages and stunning waterfalls.

Whilst not as famous as some of the islands the beaches are equally as good. It is also one of the regions of Southeast Asia that is good to visit between may and September as the micro climate here avoids the usual monsoon weather associated with other coastal areas of the region.
