WHY WE LIKE THIS HOTEL

The resort boasts 268 rooms and suites tastefully designed in typical Malaysian style. All rooms are comfortably furnished and fully equipped with modern amenities such as air-conditioning, TV with in-house movies and tea and coffee making facilities.

The Berjaya Tioman Resort features an outstanding 18-hole golf course on this unique island, with a panoramic breathtaking view of the South China Sea. The island’s only international championship golf course, it boasts spectacular scenery of lush rainforests on one side and a magnificent sea view on the other.
The PADI Dive Centre offers Discovery Courses for novices, Open Water Diver Courses, Junior Open Water Diver Courses for children, Advance Open Water Diver Courses, Day and Night Dive Trips as well as Refreshing Sessions for advance divers.

The beach here is wonderful and the diving (in season – May to Nov) is excellent. The resort is large and a little impersonal but the remote location more than compensates. Service can be hit and miss but given the location and size of the property this is to be expected. The resort is great for families, honeymooners and for those looking for a remote getaway.
