Musandam

Oman - Central Coast & Dhofar

Oman’s northernmost governorate, the Exclave of Musandam, is separated from the rest of Oman and is home to some of the country’s most dramatic landscape. This is where the mountains meet the sea, and stunning fjords and crystal-clear waters make this one of the world’s best diving and snorkelling spots.

Khasab makes a great base to explore the Musandam Peninsula, where you will enjoy a cruise on traditional Dhow spotting pods of dolphin and continue with a trip to the mountains and fjords by 4WD vehicle or hire a mountain bike if you feel adventurous.

Kumzar requires an invitation from a local and is only accessible by boat. Alternatively, take a boat trip to Telegraph Island or Khawr Najd, making for an unforgettable one or two-day excursion.
