The MV Delfin III is the latest in the Delfin fleet, a stylish Amazonian river-boat launched in 2015 to ply the upper reaches of the Amazon River and Pacaya Samiria National Park.
From the exterior, the vessel reflects the age-old heritage of Amazon cruises, while inside the décor is modern, warm and stylish with wood-panelled communal spaces, floor-to-ceiling windows, bright contemporary colours and the latest modern technology. There are 22 generous en-suite cabins spread across 2 decks; all simple yet stylish and centered around the oversized windows which drink in the surrounding views. All are air-conditioned and even furnished with telescopes for star-gazing in the Amazon. At the front of the first deck are two larger Corner Suites with wrap-around windows while best of the bunch is the Owner’s Suite at the front of the second deck with full 180° views. The Delfin prides itself on its cuisine using fresh local ingredients and tropical fruits to showcase the region’s gastronomy.
The riverboat offers comprehensive 3 and 4 night cruises up towards the Pacaya Samiria National Park. All excursions are included and each day, guests head out on skiffs led by expert guides to explore the rainforest. Back on board, guests can take advantage of the small gym and Rainforest Spa or simply relax in the top deck’s Canopy Lounge, sun deck and jacuzzi.
