Timișoara

Wooden Churches of Maramureș

Maramures County is a truly unique and beautiful place that visitors find enchanting. Bran Castle

Bran Castle, situated on a cliff overlooking the valley in the popular tourist destination of Bran, is Romania’s most famous tourist attraction. The castle gained notoriety due to the legend of Dracula, as portrayed in Bram Stoker’s novel, which is associated with the Romanian prince Vlad the Impaler. Construction of the castle began on November 19th, 1377, when it was initially designed as a fortress at the customs border between Transylvania and Romanian Country.
