Room types at 98 Acres include standard, superior, premium deluxe, honeymoon deluxe & suite categories which are divided amongst several bungalows that have been built into the landscape and boast awe-inspiring views across the rolling tea plantations. Rooms have been individually decorated using natural materials ranging from warm stone to reclaimed timber and softened with comfortable seating, local fabrics large beds and, in three of the deluxe rooms, splendid open-air over-sized stone bath tubs. All rooms feature some kind of outdoor area in the form of a balcony or terrace so you can relax, read a book or enjoy a cup of tea and enjoy the views! Facilities at the 98 acres resort include a lap pool and small children’s pool. Spa treatments are available with the unique touch of using tea based products using tea grown on the estate. If you can bear to tear yourselves away from the tranquillity and views of your private balcony/terrace then there are plenty of activities on offer. The “tea story” tour of the estate is particularly recommended and offers interaction with the local tea pluckers as well as an insight into the whole process from leaf to cup! Restaurant 98 overlooks the rolling hills which create the perfect backdrop from which to enjoy a delicious meal from the excellent choices of both local and international dishes. The tea inspired choices are particularly good.
