There are two accommodation wings at the Galle Face hotel – The Classic wing and Regency wing (currently under renovation). The regency wing consists of 81 ocean facing rooms and includes 12 suites. The classic wing has completed an extensive refurbishment and re-opened in late 2015. You will find a good selection of restaurants and bars at the Galle Face Hotel including the Verandah Restaurant (western and Oriental cuisine), the poolside terrace, chequer board and the 1864 Room, a sedate fine-dining restaurant. There are also plenty of options for light snacks and a relaxing drink, the al fresco bar area is the perfect spot to watch the sunset complete with cocktail in hand! There is also a wine lounge complete with underground wine cellar perfect for an afternoon tipple and cheese platter! The swimming pool at the Galle face hotel is pretty spectacular and the only one in the city to look straight out to the ocean. To relax, The Galle Face Spa, offers a range of spa treatments, the perfect indulgence after a busy day of sightseeing!
