WHY WE LIKE THIS HOTEL
Located in the heart of Halmstad, First Hotel Mårtenson is a beautiful hotel with a rich history dating back to 1858. Right next door is the English pub “The Fox & Anchor,” which offers traditional pub food, à la carte dining, and a wide selection of beer and whiskey. The hotel features 103 comfortable and charming rooms, all equipped with parquet floors, showers, Wi-Fi, and TVs. Some rooms also have balconies with views of the nearby Nissan River. The Superior and Deluxe Rooms were renovated in the autumn of 2012. Halmstad Castle is just 700 meters away, and Halmstad Beach is a 25-minute walk from the hotel. Additionally, guests can enjoy a relaxing sauna while at the hotel.
