The capital of Northern Thailand is Chiang Mai. The country’s second city has grown dramatically over the past few years but has still managed to retain its colourful charm and peaceful ambience. All of this is set to a magical backdrop of green mountains with the dominant Doi Suthep with its mystical hilltop temple over looking the city.
