Take time out to immerse yourself at Akodessewa’s Fetish Market, the world’s largest Voodoo market, and learn about the rituals of this ancient religion. Voodoo priests, traditional healers and charlatans from all over West Africa procure their ingredients here for their rites and ceremonies.

The elegant beach boulevard running all the way east to Benin and west to Ghana is lined with sparkling hotels and outdoor bars under clusters of coconut palms.
