Location

The resort is equidistant from both Hue and Danang airports or approximately an hour by private car. It’s the ideal base from where to explore those towns if you prefer not to actually stay in both. That said you’ll most likely find it hard to leave this two-mile stretch of pristine beach, or even your fabulous villa for that matter.

WHY WE LIKE THIS HOTEL

Each villa is complete with a private pool, and depending on which you stay in, you’ll either have views to the natural lagoon, the beach, or the surrounding mountains. An 18-hole golf course, three restaurants, a yoga pavilion, and a spa, give plenty of local options. Being located between Hue and Hoi An can work to it’s advantage for some people if you prefer not to actually stay in both cities. The beach is stunning and as is the resort itself, just as you’d expect from a Banyan Tree Hotel!

Great care has been taken to preserve the comforts and atmosphere of a classic colonial villa in a chic Art Deco style. The rooms and suites, many of which have breath-taking views across the Perfume River to the imposing flagstaff of the Citadel beyond, are all subtly elegant. It is certainly the best luxury hotel choice in town with the only downsides being that it is a little out of the way, but taxis are cheap and plentiful and that the service does not quite match up to the grand décor....
